San Diego Automotive Museum

The San Diego Automotive Museum, located in Balboa Park's Plaza de Panama, preserves and interprets the history, design, and cultural significance of automobiles through rotating exhibits and a permanent collection of historic cars. The museum is housed in the former Ford Building constructed for the 1935 California Pacific International Exposition and hosts educational programs and special events about automotive heritage. Exhibits have included themed displays on classic, custom, and historically significant vehicles.
