Cowtown Coliseum (Fort Worth Stockyards)

Cowtown Coliseum opened in 1908 as an indoor arena in the Fort Worth Stockyards Historic District and was built to host livestock and rodeo events. It is one of the earliest indoor rodeo venues in the United States and continues to host rodeos and equestrian events. The coliseum is a contributing historic structure within the Stockyards district, which preserves Fort Worth's cattle industry heritage.
