Kushnarev House

The Kushnarev House, located at 51 Pushkinskaya street in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, is a striking example of Neo-Moorish architecture, built in the early 1900s for manufacturer Vasiliy Semyonovich Kushnarev. This culturally significant building features ornate eastern architectural elements, including stucco moldings and Islamic ornaments. Originally a revenue house with a restaurant on the ground floor, it has a rich history, having served various purposes, including a military headquarters during the Soviet era. Despite suffering damage during World War II, it was restored in 2012, although some original features were lost. The building is now owned by the Southern Military District and stands as a testament to the region's architectural heritage.
