Cha House

Cha House is a historic building located in Shanghai, China, originally constructed in 1920 by brothers Qiu Xinshan and Qiu Weiqing, who were prominent figures in the dye industry. The building served as their residence until it was repurposed as part of Minli Middle School during WWII. After a series of transformations and a significant relocation in 2010, Cha House was restored and reopened in 2017, now part of the HKRI Taikoo Hui commercial complex. This unique structure reflects Shanghai's rich history and architectural evolution, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers alike.
