Casa de Liniers

Casa de Liniers is a national historical site located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, built in the late 1780s as the residence of Santiago de Liniers, the 1st Count of Buenos Aires. This colonial house, situated at Calle Venezuela 469, played a significant role in Argentine history, notably as the site where General Willian Beresford signed the terms of his capitulation during the first English invasion of the Río de la Plata in 1806. Declared a National Historic Monument in 1942, it offers visitors a glimpse into the colonial past and the pivotal events that shaped the region.
