Fremont Troll (public sculpture)

The Fremont Troll is a large public sculpture installed in 1990 beneath the north end of the Aurora Bridge in the Fremont neighborhood and has become a widely photographed local landmark. Images of the Troll are frequently posted on social media, featured in travel guides, and used in articles about Seattle's public art, making it internet-visible beyond local coverage. The sculpture was created by four Seattle-area artists as part of a community project and remains a popular photo spot.
