Kubota Garden - Japanese-American garden and cultural events

Kubota Garden is a 20-acre Japanese-American public garden in South Seattle created by gardener Fujitaro Kubota and maintained as a public park. The site is used for cultural events, documented volunteer preservation rituals, and numerous private ceremonies such as weddings and memorials. The garden's design and ongoing community stewardship reflect Japanese gardening traditions and the history of Seattle's Japanese-American community.
