Brograve Mill

Brograve Mill is a historic Grade II listed windpump located in the picturesque Norfolk Broads National Park, UK. Built in 1771 by Sir Berney Brograve, this red brick structure was designed to drain the surrounding Brograve levels. Although it has been out of operation since around 1930 and is now in a dilapidated state, it remains an intriguing site for visitors. The mill features remnants of its original sails and leans dramatically, giving rise to local legends about the Devil's interference. While direct access is not possible, the mill can be viewed from paths along the Waxham New Cut, making it a fascinating stop for tourists and researchers interested in historical engineering and local folklore.
