The Venetian - Grand Canal Shoppes and Gondolas

The Venetian Resort, which opened in 1999, is themed after Venice and includes the indoor Grand Canal Shoppes and a functioning gondola ride that travels along a man-made canal and replicates aspects of Venetian landmarks. The resort's St. Mark's Square–style façade and gondolas are distinctive elements that contribute to the themed character of the central Strip neighborhood. The Venetian is connected to The Palazzo, forming a large integrated resort complex.
