Kinloch Lodge

Kinloch Lodge, established in 1897 and once the private retreat of the Duke of Sutherland, is located near Tongue in Sutherland, Scotland. Spanning nearly 20,000 acres, the estate features diverse landscapes from sea level to the heights of Ben Hope, the northernmost Munro. Originally a sporting estate, it has been transformed into a hotel after its renovation by Danish businessman Anders Holch Povlsen in 2011. The lodge is part of a significant nature conservation initiative in the Scottish Highlands and has received accolades for its meticulous restoration, showcasing traditional craftsmanship.
