Bunting Place

Bunting Place, also known as Mapp Farm and Nickawampus Farm, is a historic house located in Wachapreague, Virginia, built around 1826. This two-story, five-bay structure features Federal style details and is set on a raised brick foundation. The property includes a modern kitchen wing, a gable-front barn, a corn house, and a small family cemetery. Recognized for its historical significance, Bunting Place was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, making it an intriguing site for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and rural history.
