Glen Canyon Creek (partially culverted downstream)

Glen Canyon Creek originates in Glen Canyon Park and remains an open stream through much of the park, but downstream reaches were channelized or placed in culverts during urban development. The creek historically continued toward Islais Creek, and modern storm drains carry flows where the natural channel was buried. The visible creek in Glen Canyon Park is a surviving section of the original stream system.
