Jenness Farm

Jenness Farm is a historic property located in Rochester, New Hampshire, covering approximately 190 acres and continuously owned by the Jenness family since 1837. This farm features a Colonial Revival main house built in 1935, replacing a previous farmhouse that was lost to fire. Originally focused on dairy farming, the farm also produced potatoes and apples, evolving over the years to include poultry operations. The farm's agricultural activities have shifted from intensive farming to hay production and tree farming, while still remaining in the hands of the Jenness descendants. It is one of the few remaining historic farms in the area, recognized for its cultural significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
