Sun God (Niki de Saint Phalle)

Sun God is a multicolored, birdlike sculpture by Niki de Saint Phalle installed on the University of California San Diego campus. Created in 1983, the sculpture gave its name to UC San Diego’s annual Sun God Festival, a long-running student music and arts event. The piece is a well-known campus landmark located along Library Walk near the Geisel Library area.
