Colvin–Fant–Durham Farm Complex

The Colvin–Fant–Durham Farm Complex, located near Chester, South Carolina, is a historic district that showcases a collection of six significant buildings, including the Nicholas Colvin House, built around 1835. This vernacular farmhouse features a blend of Federal and early Greek Revival architectural styles. Visitors can explore its two-story main block, along with a one-story dining room and kitchen added in the late 19th century. The complex also includes a smokehouse, well house, mule barn, tenant house, and a log cottonseed house, offering a glimpse into the agricultural history of the region.
