McNay Art Museum

Marion Koogler McNay bequeathed her Spanish Colonial Revival mansion and art collection to establish the museum, which opened as the first museum of modern art in Texas. The museum's campus includes the original 1920s mansion, formal gardens, and later galleries added to house European, Hispanic, and modern American art. The McNay is a long-standing cultural institution and a recognized historic property in San Antonio.
