Skirvin Hotel (reported hauntings)

The Skirvin Hotel opened in 1911 and after a long closure was restored and reopened in 2007 as a downtown hotel. It is locally famous for reports from guests and staff of unexplained noises, apparitions, and elevator activity that some attribute to hauntings. The hotel’s ghost stories are part of Oklahoma City folklore and have been covered in local media and ghost-tour accounts. Claims of paranormal activity are debated and remain anecdotal.
