Shuford House

Shuford House, also known as Maple Grove, is a historic home in Hickory, North Carolina, built in 1875. This two-story frame dwelling showcases a central hall plan and a striking two-story porch with four pairs of pillars. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, it has been restored by the Hickory Landmarks Society and now operates as a late 19th-century historic house museum, offering visitors a glimpse into the architectural and cultural history of the era.
