Chickering Hall (Boston, 1901)

Chickering Hall was a prominent auditorium located in Boston's Back Bay from 1901 to 1912, known for hosting a variety of performances including concerts and theatrical productions. It served as a cultural hub, featuring notable artists such as Antoinette Szumowska and Ossip Gabrilowitsch, and was home to the Emerson College of Oratory. After its transformation into the St. James Theatre and later the Uptown Theatre, the building was ultimately demolished in 1963.
