Israel Platt Pardee Mansion

The Israel Platt Pardee Mansion, located in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, is a historic Victorian home designed by architect George Franklin Barber and built in 1893. This impressive three-story structure features nineteen rooms, a distinctive Queen Anne style, a large tin-roofed wraparound porch, and a turret. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and includes a contributing carriage house. The mansion was constructed by Israel Platt Pardee, the son of Hazleton's founder, making it a significant landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
