Villa Carlshagen

Villa Carlshagen, located on the picturesque shores of Templiner See in Potsdam, Germany, is a historic Neoclassical residence designed by architect Friedrich Wilhelm Göhre. Originally built in the 1800s and later expanded by banker Carl Hagen in the early 20th century, the villa served as a summer home for the Hagen family, notable for their connections to prominent figures like Holocaust survivor Hans Oliva-Hagen. After changing hands due to the Nazi regime, the villa was repurposed as a radiology clinic during East Germany's era. Now a protected monument, it houses a study location for HMU Health and Medical University, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring Potsdam's rich history.
