Old South Meeting House

Constructed in 1729, Old South Meeting House was a major Puritan meeting house and public gathering place in colonial Boston. It was the site of the large public meetings in the fall of 1773 that led directly to the Boston Tea Party. Today it is preserved as a museum interpreting its religious and revolutionary-era history.
