Pierrepont House, Nottingham

Pierrepont House, once the residence of the prominent Pierrepont family, is a historic building located on Stoney Street in Nottingham. Constructed in the mid-17th century by Francis Pierrepont, it was notable for having 23 hearths, making it one of the largest houses in the area at the time. By 1797, the house was sold and repurposed as a fabric workshop, but it was ultimately demolished in the early 19th century. This site reflects Nottingham's rich architectural heritage and the evolution of its urban landscape.
