Comerica Park replaces Tiger Stadium

Comerica Park opened as the Detroit Tigers' home ballpark for the 2000 Major League Baseball season, replacing the historic Tiger Stadium. Tiger Stadium's final Major League Baseball game was played on September 27, 1999. Comerica Park has hosted Tigers home games since 2000 and marked the end of over a century of Tigers games at the Michigan-and-Trumbull site.
