Fifth Ward Wardroom

The Fifth Ward Wardroom, located at 47 Mulberry Street in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, is a historic meeting hall built in 1886, designed by William R. Walker & Son. This single-story red brick building features a unique Queen Anne architectural style and has served various purposes over the years, including a polling place, school, and veterans organization hall. It is one of only three remaining wardrooms in Rhode Island and is significant for its role during Pawtucket's incorporation as a city. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, it now functions as a private residence, offering a glimpse into the region's rich history and architectural heritage.
