Heilig-Geist-Spital

The Heilig-Geist-Spital, or Holy Spirit Hospital, is a historic site in Nuremberg, Germany, originally established in 1339 to provide care for the ill, elderly, and poor. Notably, it housed the Imperial Regalia of the Holy Roman Empire from 1424 to 1796, showcasing treasures like the Holy Lance during annual worship events. Today, the building, which partially spans the Pegnitz river, has been repurposed as a restaurant and senior home, offering visitors a glimpse into its rich history.
