Villa Montezuma (Queen Anne Victorian)

Villa Montezuma is a late-19th-century Queen Anne Victorian house in the Sherman Heights neighborhood originally built for Jesse Shepard. The ornate, turreted residence has served as a museum and cultural venue and is owned by the City of San Diego. It is noted locally for its richly detailed woodwork and stained glass typical of Victorian-era domestic architecture.
