Seria Energy Lab

The Seria Energy Lab, formerly known as the Oil and Gas Discovery Centre, is a prominent science center located in Seria, Belait District, Brunei. Officially opened in 2002 by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, the center underwent significant renovations and rebranding in 2020 to enhance its role in promoting scientific literacy in the nation. Visitors can explore six engaging exhibitions focused on oil and gas, future energy, and smart science, among others. The center also features outdoor exhibits, including a historic locomotive and an oil drilling rig, showcasing Brunei's rich energy heritage. With facilities like a science lab, theater, and recreational park, the Seria Energy Lab serves as a hub for education and community engagement, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike.
