Tennessee State Museum archaeology collections

The Tennessee State Museum houses the state's principal archaeological collections, including prehistoric Native American artifacts from Middle Tennessee such as Mississippian pottery and materials from mound sites. These collections were assembled from documented excavations across the state and are used for research, conservation, and public exhibits.
