Byers-Evans House (Victorian-era urban residence)

The Byers-Evans House, constructed in the 1880s and later expanded, is a preserved Victorian-era urban residence that was home to Denver newspaper founder William N. Byers and, subsequently, the Evans family. Now operated as a historic house museum, it displays period interiors and artifacts illustrating domestic life in late-19th- and early-20th-century Denver. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an example of residential architecture from Denver's early city period.
