Masjid Al-Abrar

Masjid Al-Abrar, located in Chinatown, Singapore, is one of the city's earliest mosques, established by Tamil immigrants in 1827. Originally a thatched hut, it was replaced by a brick structure between 1850 and 1855. The mosque, which can accommodate up to 800 worshippers, underwent major renovations from 1986 to 1989 and was designated a national monument in 1974.
