Aurora, also known as the Pink House, is a historic Italian Villa-style home located in Spencer, Virginia, built between 1853 and 1856. This two-story, three-bay house features distinctive architectural elements such as round-arched windows and clustered chimneys, along with charming one-story porches. The property includes a small frame building that once served as an office. Constructed by Thomas Jefferson Penn, the house is linked to the founding of the F.R & G. Penn Co., which played a significant role in the tobacco industry. Aurora was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009, making it a noteworthy destination for history enthusiasts and tourists alike.
