Pueblo Grande Hohokam Village Remains

Pueblo Grande Museum & Archaeological Park preserves the excavated remains of a Hohokam village occupied roughly AD 450–1450. Archaeological investigations at the site have documented a platform mound, two ball courts, numerous pit-house foundations, and remnants of ancient irrigation canals buried by centuries of sediment. The site is interpreted in situ and displayed by the museum and City of Phoenix as an archaeological park.
