Klov Palace

Klov Palace, located in the Pechersk District of Kyiv, Ukraine, serves as the seat of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. Built between 1752 and 1756 in the Baroque style, it was originally intended as a residence for the Russian royal family during their visits to the nearby Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Despite its grand design by architects Gottfried Johann Schädel and Pyotr Neyelov, the palace never hosted royalty and fell into disrepair over the years. It has served various purposes, including a military hospital and educational institutions, and underwent significant restoration in the 1970s after suffering damage from fires. Visitors can admire its historical architecture and the formal garden that surrounds it.
