Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay - one of North America's largest aquarium exhibits

Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay contains a 1.3 million-gallon shipwreck exhibit and houses more than 2,000 animals including sharks, rays, and sea turtles. Opened in 2000, the exhibit and its tank size are cited in media and by Mandalay Bay as among the largest aquarium displays in North America. The facility includes multiple species-focused habitats and a 100-foot tunnel for underwater viewing.
