Casa de los Dragones

The Casa de los Dragones is a striking historical landmark located in the Spanish exclave of Ceuta, known for its eclectic architectural style. Commissioned in 1900 by Francisco Cerni González and designed by architect José M. Cortina Pérez, the building features a unique façade adorned with bronze dragons, which have become its defining characteristic. Originally completed in 1905, the house has a rich history, including serving as the office for the Spanish Falange party after the 1936 revolution. Although the original dragons were lost in 1925, new dragons were installed in 2006, crafted by local artist Antonio Romero Vallejo. This landmark, situated at the corner of Kings Square, offers a glimpse into Ceuta's architectural heritage and is a must-visit for tourists and researchers alike.
