Beaumont Civic Center

The Beaumont Civic Center is a prominent 6,500-seat arena located in downtown Beaumont, Texas, ideal for concerts, conventions, and exhibitions. With a total of 41,300 square feet of versatile space, it can accommodate large events, including banquets for up to 2,000 guests. The venue is part of a larger complex that includes the Julie Rogers Theater and the Jefferson Theatre, making it a cultural hub in the area. Historically, it served as the home court for the Lamar Cardinals basketball team from 1980 to 1984, where they achieved a remarkable 40–2 record. The Civic Center also hosted the Southland Conference men's basketball tournament multiple times and is currently the temporary home of the Beaumont Children's Museum, making it a key destination for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and events.
