Jamshed Bhabha Theatre

The Jamshed Bhabha Theatre, inaugurated on November 24, 1999, is a prominent 1,109-seat venue located within the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai, India. Built on reclaimed land at Nariman Point, the theatre was reconstructed after a fire in 1997 nearly destroyed it. Known for its exceptional acoustics designed by Cyril Harris, the theatre hosts major productions, including the acclaimed musical Mughal-e-Azam and Agatha Christie's The Mirror Crack'd. The venue features a traditional proscenium-arch design, a stunning 100-year-old Carrara marble staircase from the Petit Hall, and a permanent exhibition honoring its namesake, Dr. Jamshed J.
