Wyambyn

Wyambyn is a heritage-listed homestead located in Tabragalba, Queensland, designed by renowned architect Robin Dods in 1908. Built between 1908 and 1909, it showcases the Arts and Crafts architectural style, characterized by its solid forms and local craftsmanship. The homestead was constructed for De Burgh Bannatyne Bentinck Persse, a prominent pastoralist, and is situated on land that has historical significance due to its connection with influential families in Queensland's pastoral development. Wyambyn was added to the Queensland Heritage Register in 2013, making it an important site for tourists and researchers interested in Queensland's architectural and pastoral history.
