Constructed between 1801 and 1802 by master mason Johan Joachim Schlage, the building has a rich history, having survived the devastating Copenhagen Fire of 1795. It has housed various notable residents, including theologian N. G. Wolff and illustrator P. C. Klæstrup. The property has served multiple purposes over the years, including a grocer's shop and a bakery.
