Welcome Acres

Welcome Acres is a historic house located in Goshen, New Hampshire, built around 1835. This unique two-and-a-half-story structure features a gabled roof and a clapboard exterior, making it stand out among the cluster of plank-frame houses in the area. Notably, it is one of only two houses in Goshen constructed with horizontally laid planks. The house has a symmetrical facade with sash windows and a modern entry flanked by pilasters, showcasing Greek Revival architectural elements. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, Welcome Acres offers visitors a glimpse into the region's architectural heritage.
