Memphis Pyramid / Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid

The Memphis Pyramid opened in 1991 as a sports and entertainment arena and is a 321-foot-tall steel-and-glass pyramid on the Mississippi River bluff. After the arena closed, the structure was redeveloped and reopened in 2015 as Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid, a large retail and entertainment complex. The interior includes a wilderness-themed Big Cypress Lodge hotel and an indoor cypress swamp, and an observation deck at the top offers panoramic views of Memphis and the river.
