Kingdome (King County Domed Stadium)

The Kingdome was a multi-purpose domed stadium that stood on the downtown Seattle waterfront and hosted the Seattle Seahawks (NFL) and Seattle Mariners (MLB) among other events. Opened in the mid-1970s, it was imploded and removed in 2000 after decades of use. The stadium footprint is now occupied by the current professional-sports venues Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park.
