Inspiration Point Shelter House

Inspiration Point Shelter House is a historic open-air pavilion located in Marion Sansom Park, Fort Worth, Texas. Built in 1927, this charming structure is perched on a limestone bluff with stunning views of Lake Worth dam and the surrounding area. Designed in the National Park Service Rustic style, it features a limestone construction that blends harmoniously with its natural surroundings. Although it suffered a fire in 1973 that destroyed its original roof, the pavilion was beautifully restored in 2011 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in Texas history and architecture.
