Ritz Theatre & Museum (LaVilla)

The Ritz Theatre opened in 1929 in the LaVilla neighborhood as a major venue for African-American vaudeville and film during segregation. It later fell into disuse and was restored, reopening as the Ritz Theatre & Museum to interpret the cultural history of LaVilla and African-American performing arts. The venue hosts performances, exhibits, and educational programs focused on regional Black history.
