Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS JAX)

Naval Air Station Jacksonville is a major U.S. Navy air installation on the St. Johns River that was established in 1940 and remains an active East Coast naval air station. The base supports maritime patrol, logistics, and training squadrons and serves as headquarters for several Navy and Marine units. NAS JAX has played continuous operational and support roles for the Atlantic Fleet since World War II.
