Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial - Kosciuszko's Philadelphia residence

The Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial preserves the small house where Polish-Lithuanian military engineer and Revolutionary War figure Tadeusz Kościuszko lived during part of 1797. The National Park Service designated the building a national memorial and interprets Kosciuszko's contributions to the American Revolution and his later transatlantic activities. Exhibits focus on his engineering work, military service, and legacy in American and Polish history.
