First Horizon Park - Nashville Sounds and Sulphur Dell site

First Horizon Park became the downtown home of the Triple-A Nashville Sounds when it opened in 2015. The ballpark was built on and around the historic site of Sulphur Dell, where the Nashville Vols played professional baseball for decades until 1963. First Horizon Park hosts Minor League Baseball games and includes design elements that reference the city's baseball history. Its opening marked the return of professional baseball to a central Nashville site.
