Blow-Me-Down Grange

The Blow-Me-Down Grange, located in Plainfield, New Hampshire, is a historic Grange hall built in 1839, originally serving as a church. Notable for its Greek Revival architecture, the building features a symmetrical facade with a distinctive two-stage tower and retains many original elements, including pews. It has played a vital role in the local community as the home of Patrons of Husbandry Chapter 234 since 1899. The interior includes a second-story hall adorned with a significant oil painting from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. The Grange continues to host community meetings, making it a focal point for local social activities. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
