Wanamaker Organ at Macy's Center City

The Wanamaker Organ, housed in the Grand Court of Macy's Center City (the former John Wanamaker department store), is the largest fully functioning pipe organ in the world and contains more than 28,000 pipes. The instrument was assembled and expanded over the late 19th and 20th centuries and is maintained for public performance. Regular recitals and special concerts in the Grand Court present the organ to visitors and residents.
